Violet is a princess, and since her father is insane, and her mother spends all her time traveling, she is left with a lot of power and responsibility for a young bunny. But, there is a council to the day to day administration of the government, including Seymore "Big Cheese" (Koon no Kami) who would like to seize power for himself, and Al Dente (Wanko no Kami) who is loyal to the royal family (or Shogunate in KNT). Being a spoiled princess, Vi is prone to throw tantrums and sometimes furniture when she doesn't get her way. But she is more feared for her authority, which can use to have anyone exiled to an island. She is also handy with a naginata, a Japanese pole arm with a sword like blade.

Although she is most well known for her temper, Vi can also be sweet, playful, and very cute. In the English version of the show, she once mentions her age as 18 ("I'm tired of being an 18 year old burn out!") but no age is mentioned in the original and she often acts very childish.
