| In 1968, Bollen's Animal Crackers was released
by Tribune Media Services and continues to run daily and Sunday. With its cast of jungle
characters including Lyle Lion (Mark Camacho), Eugene the Elephant (Terrence
Scammel), the Gnu and Dodo, Animal Crackers combines whimsical drawing and insightful
commentary on the foibles of that most curious of animals, man. The comic strip has won
numerous awards including the European "Max" for best comic strip. Animal
Crackers has been licensed in many categories (including animation) and has enjoyed a
