Petey Atrick is the grandson of the highest Master of the Ninja Crows. Petey is the son of two Ninja Crow Masters. As a result, Petey talks, thinks, acts, looks, and probably smells like a Master. He is somewhat taken by Terrabell, meaning that he is head over heels, madly, deeply, (adjectives that so sevearly express love that they are banned from the English to make love poetry harder to write) in love with her. He has felt this way for over a decade. During that time he has had exactly . . . (thinks for a moment) . . . no success with her. He is deeply hurt by the fact that the person he most cares about is one who cares nothing for him (not that she cares for anyone). Each time she refers to him as "Peter" instead of "Petey" as everyone else does it strikes him to the core.
