Samurai Pizza Cats is an animation TV show created in the early 90s in Japan by Tatsunoko, where it was known under the name Kyatto Ninden Teyandee. The anime was translated by Saban, however it was not a straight dialog translation; a completely new storyline was made up by the translators merely by watching the animation, sound disabled. The result was a completely "new" show, some say more creative and original than most other imported anime. A few episodes have been released on DVD, although its legality is debated.
